High Voltage Component Remanufacturing Technician
EV High Voltage Technician EV HUB seeks a highly motivated and skilled High Voltage Component Remanufacturing Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our mission to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for the electric vehicle industry.
Responsibilities:
- Repair and remanufacture a wide range of high-voltage components for electric vehicles. This includes components like PTC heaters, DC/DC converters, onboard chargers, and AC/air suspension compressors
- Utilize your knowledge of electrical and mechanical principles to troubleshoot and repair faulty components, following established procedures
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, learning from senior technicians and contributing to the high-voltage component remanufacturing process
- Identify and source reliable external partners for PCB boards and repair equipment
- Apply reverse engineering principles under the guidance of senior technicians to assist with research and development on new remanufactured parts
- Maintain documentation throughout the repair and remanufacturing process
- Uphold the highest safety standards within the work environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in electronics repair or a related field
- A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
- Proficiency in using basic electronics lab tools, such as multimeter and soldering equipment. (Training on advanced tools can be provided)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- A passion for learning and a willingness to grow within the electric vehicle industry
- A valid High Voltage training certificate is a plus but not mandatory

Status update:
We are excited to announce that EV HUB and Stena Recycling Norge are building Europe’s first complete value chain for high-voltage battery remanufacturing. Located in Ausenfjellet near Oslo in Norway, this groundbreaking facility has a total project cost of approximately 100 million NOK. This initiative aims to reduce carbon emissions, create green jobs, and drive economic growth, setting new standards for sustainability in the battery industry.
